MY Canada National Updates on Yazidi Refugees:
Yazidi women and girls have been increasingly raped, traded and sold as sex slaves amongst ISIS fighters in recent years. They are Iraq’s (and amongst the world’s) most persecuted minority group.
Parliament voted unanimously October 2016 in support of MP Michelle Rempel’s motion to acknowledge this genocide against the Yazidi people and to welcome Yazidi women and children to safety in Canada. The government committed to 1,200 Yazidis to be welcomed by the end of 2017.

2 – SIGN THE PETITION:
Please sign and share this petition holding the Government accountable to their promise to resettle 1200 Yazidi refugees to Canada.
