A Gen-X/Millennial team from Vancouver and other parts of Canada gathered on the steps of Victoria's legislature on August 11, 2005 to lift their voices in prayer and declaration. From Victoria this band of young warriors launched a tour called "Siege 2005" eastward, stopping in six other cities before ending in Ottawa on Parliament Hill, August 22-26, 2005. The tour was sponsored by The National House of Prayer and Pat King's Extreme Prophetic Ministries.

The tour leader was a young Vancouver woman, Faytene Kryskow (www.flyhighministries.com). Kryskow, at 30, was the oldest member of the team. Jeff Pelton of The War Room Ministries in Kelowna accompanied the tour for support and as a representative of the "older generation" to stand alongside the youth. The team's vision was to be the voice of truth, justice and righteousness in our land—a Righteous Revolution.

Their strategy was to pray. In each location they also held city-wide worship events. Then they met face to face with as many Canadian government leaders (provincial and federal) as possible. Kryskow had written a booklet, Stand on Guard. The booklet contains research on Canada's righteous foundations. While doing research, Faytene discovered that Canada's founding forefathers had been sent to this land with the vision and mandate to see the kingdom of God established and His glory dwell in our nation. This has now become Kryskow's growing passion as well, and she is not afraid to walk in it.

Prior to the tour, copies of the booklet were distributed to every Member of Parliament and Senator, and to the Governor General, the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Parliamentary Library. The team presented the booklet also to all MLA members with whom they met.

Kryskow shares, "I believe God is looking for a voice … of righteousness and justice." She continues, "Look at Josiah in the Bible. At the age of eight he was king, and in one reign, he tore down all the unrighteous idols in the land and re-established righteousness and justice … . despite the fact that his reign followed a legacy of two ungodly kings. That's what we want to see in Canada—one voice, one heart, one mind for God's righteousness to be restored. We want this Josiah generation, the youth of today, to stand for righteousness in Canada, [and] to let their voices be heard."
