Can you feel it coming?

We are arriving.

This summer a massive event in the spirit realm will be taking place. The Cry is being resurrected. We've heard it said many times before, but never should it get old, "It's not a conference. It's not a concert. It's a cry." Passionate young people and those who are young at heart are responding to the call to assemble on Parliament Hill to join with the hosts of heaven as we pray and worship on behalf of a nation this July 15th.

WE HEARD THE WORD LOUD AND CLEAR ON A RECENT CRY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE CALL

On a recent conference call the leadership of The Cry began to pray into the needed logistics of this event. One of the needs we have been praying into is the financing to cover this event. We realize that in ministry finances really are the least valuable resource. Our primary resource and that which will accomplish all is the Presence of God. As a leadership team we are hungering after the Presence of God and seeking His face for all our answers, leading and fulfilment.

As we were seeking the Lord a word came about the financial requirements we face to facilitate this event for the nation. We have been wrestling with the idea of doing your usual fund raising for this. In all honesty a few strong business people could rise up and give what is needed, but as we prayed we felt the Lord saying that He had another plan. Something I have learnt to be true concerning things of the Lord is that if there is a backwardness to your thinking, its probably God!

WHAT IF A WE BEGAN TO 'OWN' OUR GENERATION & THE NATION???

What would it look like if instead of people who had the ability to give a lot of money, the Lord raised up an army of young people to take ownership of their generation and nation and sow financially to this event? Is this some idea we came up with because we need money? Honestly, no. We consider money our least valuable resource. What we feel most strongly about is following His Presence. We feel His Presence leading us here.

Consider what it would look like to the spiritual realm of our nation. Not just one or two people, but hundreds or thousands of our generation rising to a place where we say, "I will do what I can, I will follow the Lord" and gave what they felt was on their heart to help take responsibility and ownership for their generation and their nation. Then it would not be one or two people stepping up to the plate, but would be an army beginning to fight for each other.

We don't need money. We need freedom.

We don't need an event. We need liberty.

We can use money as a tool to help bring freedom all across this nation. This event will bring help further the cause of spiritual liberty in this land in our lifetime and for the generations to come.

Each person who was on this recent conference call (worship leaders, team leaders & prayer leaders) felt it on their hearts to step up and take responsibility for their generation. We have all given a certain amount of money. Nobody is getting paid for this. We're all coming with the same heart and same fire burning in our souls. Some people cannot come, but they are standing with us on the home front and in the spirit rising to the call. We are rising up as a generation and calling each other to wake up and live. We are seeking every way in which we can blow this trumpeted in the land.

ARMY PROTOCOL: RESTING, LISTENING AND STEPPING OUT

We ask that you would rest and wait and hear if this trumpet would resound in your heart right now. What can you do to help facilitate this event for our generation and for the nation? Get into the Presence of God and see if He would honestly lay something on your heart to sow into this event. And as we have been calling people around the nation - respond! This is how change comes to a nation. It begins with your heart.

In order to pull this event off the basic budget is $115-127,000 est. To date $49,000 est. has been sown. That means we, as a generation, have an opportunity to sow our best seed into this harvest and make up the remaining $65,000 est.

We feel the Lord stirring thousands of young people, young at heart, churches, businesses and ministries to give financially to The Cry for the only reason of the army taking it's place in our land and each person being willing to fight for another whether they attend. The Cry this July 15th or not.

Join us in seeking after our most precious resource -The Presence of God and respond to that which He would lead you to. No amount is to small, nor is any amount to large! We simply long to see our generation rising to it's rightful place in our nation.

Pray about what to give and help facilitate this call to Canada.
